Basics Class |
|
|
Emphasis on basic exercises, falling skills, principles, philosophy, and basic techniques. Recommended class for beginners. (Class open to ranked students wishing to review the basics.) |

General Class |

|
This class is for adult men and women. More vigorous in nature than the Basics class. Beginners are encouraged to participate in this class in addition to the Basics class at such time as they become comfortable with the basic falling skills. |

Children's Class |
|
|
Students 7-10: Classes will be game-centric, with aikido skills, physical skills (balance, coordination, movement) and discipline (sitting still, maintaining focus, appropriate behavior, etc.) more or less equally stressed.
Students 11 and older: Classes will be technique-centric, with aikido skills, physical skills, discipline, and games.
Several senior students will be invited to help with the younger class as schedules permit.
Parents are encouraged to train with their kids.

Sunday Weapons Class |
|
|
All levels are welcome. This class offers instruction in the use of bokken (wooden sword), jo (wooden staff) and tanto (wooden knife). The dojo provides weapons for class use. Class material includes partnered practices, weapons taking and katas. |
